What Is Gallic Acid?
Gallic Acid is a naturally occurring organic compound, also known as 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid. It is widely present in many plants, especially in nuts, fruits, tea leaves, and oak bark. Gallic Acid possesses various biological activities including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and anticancer properties, thus it finds extensive applications in medicine, food, cosmetics, and other fields.
