What is Policosanol?
POLICOSANOL is an organic compound with the structural formula CH3(CH2)26CH2OH. The appearance is white powder or scale-like crystal, tasteless and odorless. Soluble in hot ethanol, ether, benzene, toluene, chloroform, dichloromethane, petroleum ether and other organic solvents, insoluble in water.
